Newsletters

Newsletters may be one of the greatest tools an organization can have. They serve as a platform from which to voice concerns, needs, thanks, congratulations, well-wishes and condolences; they (obviously) keep the members and friends updated - hopefully spurring them on to become more active; they serve to not only announce but give detail of coming events, programs and projects; and finally they provide a means of keeping record of the CFHS - basically like a journal entry. While meeting minutes contain the nitty gritty detail of operations, they aren't really designed to tell the story of CFHS events, programs and projects (thus, newsletters help fill in where the businees meetings leave off).

Our past newsletters are a nice resource if for nothing else than to document a bit of our organizations own history - they as well let us showcase at least some of the people through the years who have given so much time and effort by their dedicated service to our little club of part time historians.
