Old Canal Days Plates

Throughout time, we human beings have looked to honor the people, places, events and other noteworthy happenings in our life. These commemorations appear not just in grandiose, monolithic structures but also in finely crafted household items. Dish-ware has been an often used medium for such occasions; thus, one such way that Canal Fultonians would celebrate the Sesquicentennial was by featuring it on a plate. In years following this event, the community would look forward to an annual commemorative plate which was released for the Old Canal Days Festival. The Old Canal Days Plates were a much anticipated commodity and today, they remain a very nice collector's item.

These plates were made in limited supply and we only have select years available in our gift shop so stop on in and start your collection today!
